We love that it’s a Canadian line. Your aesthetic works well with our current vibe.

STAFF AT YOUR SHOP: FAMILY, FRIENDS, ONE MAN SHOW? HOW DOES YOUR TEAM WORK TOGETHER TO CREATE A WELCOMING AND INTERACTIVE STOREFRONT FOR YOUR CUSTOMER BASE?

A

We have a positive, fun loving work environment. The owner hand selects all of our products, and the staff are all hands-on involved with display, marketing ideas and social media.

WHO IS YOUR CUSTOMER, AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO CONNECT WITH THEM / KEEP THEM IN THE LOOP REGARDING NEW ARRIVALS?

Our main customer base are younger working people aged 23-35, although we also have a wide range of university students and tourists too since we’re right downtown.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE ATMOSPHERE OF YOUR STORE? IS IT A COZY SPACE, OR IS IT A MINIMALISTS DREAM? DESCRIBE THE NEIGHBOURHOOD IN WHICH YOUR SHOP IS LOCATED. DOES IT HAVE A FAMILY FEEL, OR IS IT YOUNG AND TRENDY?

Our shop is pretty big, and has a few different vibes in different departments, but overall it’s an upbeat and eclectic space. We are located right in the heart of downtown, close to lots of bars, hotels, and office buildings. Lots of new residential construction happening now which is going to attract a lot more urban core dwellers right into our neighbourhood.

DO YOU PRIMARILY CARRY LOCAL PRODUCTS? IF SO, WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO YOU?

A

We carry over 100 brands- some well known and some up and coming. We stock about 12 Canadian made brands as well as other Canadian brands that are manufactured offshore. It’s important to us because we understand the economic impact that keeping it local has, and because we want to support Canadian companies.
