The Stretch Selvedge Raw Denim is a 12.5oz indigo rope dyed Japanese selvedge denim, woven on vintage shuttle looms in a right hand twill construction. This denim is made with 2% stretch for added comfort, without compromising durability. Other details include, contrast stitching, brown leather patch, silver metallic waist buttons and rivets. The Boyfriend is a slim tapered fit; medium rise, standard thigh with a taper from the knee to hem.
These were my first pair of raw denim jeans, and I was a little uncertain about buying online without trying them first. I watched the N & F video about how to use the measurement guide and compared the sizing to jeans I currently have with similar stretch. The fit is great! My only complaint is that I wish they came in different lengths, as I'm not sure that the '31" inseam' is truly that long. I think they're a little short, and hope they don't shrink up too much when they're eventually washed.
