At Muttonhead we recognize the importance of ethically made clothing. This is why we manufacture the waterproof Rain Mtn. hoodie in a sweatshop free factory located right here in Toronto.
I just finished a long walk in the rain with these pants and a matching jacket. Honestly, I'm full of mixed emotions. I've worn this jacket and pant combo before, and had a good experience, but that was in light rain, and a short walk. This time I walked through relatively normal rain for Halifax, for 40 minutes, and Took them off. To my surprise, I removed everything, and I had a wet line that started at the top of my chest, and somehow went all the way down and up my lower back without disconnecting. I was kind of surprised, and thought it was a little funny. I'm pretty sure I cannot return them even though I want to, so I'm going to try and wear the pants a little higher next time, and try some water proofing chemicals.
Not sure if I'd recommend these or not, they're generally comfortable, but the pants are really loud to walk in.
Ive owned these pants for about 4 years now and they’re still in good condition after a lot of wear! The only issue is the lower drawstrings frayed and fell out and I have a small hole from sitting too close to the campfire (which hasn't got any bigger). Absolutely one of my favourite pants and they’re built to last, i’ll be getting another pair!
Great for wearing in the rain (major downpours as well) while walking the dog. Can't wait to try them with a thin layer underneath for x-country skiing this year!
The drawstrings make these super versatile as far as length of pant go.
The material is perfect for wet and muddy weather, as well as everyday wear.
